Four Truth Wellness offers you practical tools, and life-giving encouragement that will inspire you to get healthy for life!
Welcome to Four Truth Wellness! My name is Rebecca Ridsdale and I am a Consulting Hypnotist, certified with the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. (NGH) – the oldest and largest hypnotherapy membership organization in the world. I am also a Yoga Instructor, certified by The Kundalini Research Institute since, 2002.
I help individuals and corporations take steps toward improving personal well-being at home and at work.
You will be provided with confidential, compassionate, and professional Hypnotism services and Corporate Wellness packages for individuals, couples, children and groups.
In my early 20’s, I was required to fly all over North America for work and to visit family, however I was deathly afraid to get on an airplane. A friend suggested I try hypnosis to get over this fear. I took her advice, and just five hypnosis sessions later I was able to board and fly in an airplane with minimal anxiety. To say this was miraculous is an understatement. Hypnosis has helped in many other areas of my life since and inspired me to become a Consulting Hypnotist, twenty years later.
The name, Four Truth Wellness is inspired by the Buddah’s Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta teaching, Four Noble Truths: 1) Life has inevitable suffering 2) There is a cause to our suffering 3) There is an end to suffering 4) The end of suffering is contained in an end to craving, clinging, becoming and dissatisfaction (the Eightfold Path).
Four Truth Wellness offers the beginning to the end of suffering. I teach that by strengthening and balancing the mind and body, clarity, peace and happiness can be achieved.
It has been a pleasure helping just over 1,300 clients, since 2014 learn to overcome and alleviate anxiety and stress, tobacco and chronic drug use, weight issues, nail biting and other OCD related issues, fears, phobias and more with hypnosis and self-hypnosis.
“I have a long history of suffering from acute social anxiety…I decided to try hypnosis…I was surprised to find that something I had been living with for decades could be turned around in such a short time…I feel that Rebecca herself is the key to much of this as she is talented in her area of expertise. She is insightful, compassionate and an astute observer of human nature.”
Yoga always came naturally to me and so training to be a Yoga Instructor was a no-brainer. I love to see the transformations that yoga and mediation offer my clients. I encounter stiff bodies and rigid minds coming into class and upon leaving they are relaxed, limber, calm and happy – a beautiful thing! I offer private yoga sessions and group yoga classes that include meditation, mindfulness tools and self-hypnosis. Classes are specifically designed around weight management and stress management in various formats.

According to the Global Business and Economic Round Table:
- An estimate of 7.5 million Canadians — each year, every year — actually suffer depression, anxiety, substance abuse or another mental disorder.
- The cost to the Canadian economy from workplace stress, depression and mental illness is 35 million lost workdays and an estimated $35 billion in lost productivity annually.
…and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
